Due to the amount of food it needs to survive, the Thunderhorn is aggressively territorial to invaders. This has led many to see it as a sort of protector of the forests, leading many to revere the beast as an almost godlike figure. Small shrubs and trees take root in its thick, shaggy hide, providing roosting for birds and other small creatures that keep the Thunderhorn clean of parasites and biting vermin.
While incapable of speech or any real dexterity, the Thunderhorn is quite intelligent and offers mercy to those who respect its rule.
